4. High value council website URLs dataset
As part of the onboarding toolkit, councils receive a spreadsheet containing the most important resident-facing URLs.
What the dataset is
A curated list of high-value service pages that represent the main journeys residents take, for example paying council tax, reporting waste issues, renewing parking permits or finding local support.
How the dataset is created
Loci generates this list using Semrush website analytics by:
Analysing the council’s public website
Identifying high-traffic and high-value service pages
Removing irrelevant or low-signal pages
Grouping URLs by service area
Prioritising functional, task-focused journeys
How councils should use the dataset
Identify which pages should include Loci promotional content
Mark pages that should be removed or replaced
Highlight any additional key pages unique to local priorities
Loci updates app configuration and launch plans based on any feedback.
