Can I turn off notifications or choose what I receive?
Yes. You’re in control.
You can:
Choose specific updates you want
Turn some or all notifications off
All you need to do is open the Loci app, tap the 'More' option from the bottom right and then tap 'Notifications'. From here you can modify the notifications you receive. Further details and steps can be found here.
What if I did not receive a notification?
Most missed notifications come down to settings, address setup, or an out of date app.
Try this first:
Check your notification settings
Follow this article to ensure notification settings are set correctly.
Check your address is correct
View your profile to check that your address is correctly stored in the Loci app.
All you need to do is open the Loci app, tap the 'More' option from the bottom right and then tap 'Profile details'. From here you can see the address that has been saved in the Loci app.
Check the app is up to date
Keeping Loci up to date helps you get the latest features, fixes and improvements. It also makes sure you receive notifications, local updates, reminders and council alerts without any hiccups.

Check your phone settings (notifications allowed for Loci)
On Apple iPhone
Open Settings
Tap Notifications
Scroll down and tap Loci
Make sure Allow Notifications is turned on

Lock Screen
Notification Centre
Banners
Sounds
Badges
On Android Phones
Steps can vary a bit depending on your phone, but usually:
Open Settings
Tap Notifications or Apps
Find and tap Loci
Make sure notifications are turned on
You may also see extra options like:
Notification categories
Pop-up alerts
Lock screen notifications
Battery settings that limit background activity

Please note the Loci app is providing you with your council areas information and do not control the information and data being served by the council.
